P2F2 hosts free webinars each quarter for members only.  We attempt to select topics that are timely and will be interesting for most, if not all, members.  To register for webinars or to view information about past webinars, you must be logged in.

Our next webinar will be held on Thursday, June 24th from 3:00 - 4:00 ET.  Attendees will earn 1 CPE credit.

The topic for this webinar is how to understand actuarial experience study elements.  Experience studies are prepared on a regular basis and are crucial to our understanding of how well actuarial assumptions match reality.  But what is the difference between a method and an assumption?  Which economic and demographic assumptions are the most important to keep an eye on regularly?  And how will COVID affect long-term assumptions?
After attending this webinar, you will be able to:
  • Identify the elements of an actuarial experience study
  • Understand recent trends in various actuarial assumptions
  • Understand how to identify those assumptions that are most critical to watch.
