Financial Reporting Manager
The Arizona Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) is currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated accounting professional for the position of Financial
Reporting Manager located in Phoenix, Arizona. The Financial Reporting Manager is a direct report to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible to supervise direct reports,
coordinate internal and external financial reporting responsibilities, prepare regulatory compliance reporting, conduct technical research, provide support as needed for the completion of internal/external audits, provide general ledger accounting support, conduct monthly and yearly budget reporting, and implement new generally accepted accounting standards.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accountancy with 4 to 8 years’ experience in a professional level accountant position to include governmental accounting and financial reporting, basic understanding of Excel, VBA or other programming language, knowledge of relevant State of Arizona statutes and supervisory experience.
