The School Employees Retirement System of Ohio (SERS) is seeking a Tax Analyst.
We are looking for a person who responsible for monitoring and completing all federal and state tax reporting of pension benefits, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws, and executing timely and accurate tax payments.
The desired candidate will be investigative, diagnostic, and analytical to assume primary responsibility for SERS tax activity and have experience in project management.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in accounting, tax or related field;
- Three to five years related tax experience and/or training - pension benefit tax experience preferred; minimum one year experience planning, leading, directing, and managing small to medium scale projects; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously in sensitive and confidential matters with internal and external contacts
