We are pleased to announce that Mr. Mita Drazilov will be leading this P2F2 quarterly webinar. The topic for this webinar is how to understand actuarial experience study elements.  Experience studies are prepared on a regular basis and are crucial to our understanding of how well actuarial assumptions match reality.  But what is the difference between a method and an assumption?  Which economic and demographic assumptions are the most important to keep an eye on regularly?  And how will COVID affect long-term assumptions?
After attending this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Identify the elements of an actuarial experience study
  • Understand recent trends in various assumptions
  • Understand how to identify those assumptions that are most critical to watch.
