The next P2F2 webinar, titled "The Economic Impact of 2024 Election Results" will take place on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 3:00 - 4:00 Eastern Time.  The webinar will be led by Michael Feroli, the Chief U.S. Economist at J.P. Morgan.  Michael has published in several scholarly journals and has consulted the U.S. Congress' Joint Economic Committee.  He serves as a member of the Economic Advisory Panel of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and the the University of Chicago's U.S. Monetary Policy Forum.

Now that the election is behind us, Michael will give his view of how the election will impact financial markets.  He will discuss the post-election environment as the new President and Congress looks at a wide range of legislation, including possible tax changes, trade policy and regulatory reform.

The webinar is free for members ($50 for nonmembers) and attendees will receive 1 CPE credit for attending if they are logged in for at least 50 minutes and respond to at least 3 of the 4 polling questions.

After attending the webinar, you will be able to:

  • Understand the role of the Federal Reserve as they face a softening economy and the expected future of interest rates
  • Evaluate options regarding how Congress can fund the enormous budget deficit
  • Understand the impact on taxes and various sectors once Republicans control the White House, Senate and House.
