The Road to 40 Webinar Series
Many of us have certifications that require 80 CPE credits over a 2-year period, and it has been difficult to find training that is relevant and timely for public pension plan finance professionals. Those who attend the annual conference and preconference can typically receive about 25 CPE credits. P2F2 has also hosted one-hour-long quarterly webinars for several years that are free to P2F2 members. In 2026, P2F2 is introducing a new webinar series called "The Road to 40" that will consist of six two-hour-long Zoom webinars offered bimonthly, typically on the last Thursday of every other month. The cost for members is $50 per credit hour ($100 for each webinar). P2F2 members can also purchase all six webinars for a bundled price of $500 if done so before February 19, 2026. Members who attend the annual conference and all of P2F2's webinars can earn 41 CPE credits each year--and all of the training will be applicable to public pension plan finance professionals!

The first Road to 40 webinar, titled "GASB 103 and Beyond", will be held on Thursday, February 19 from 2:00 - 4:00 Eastern Time. This 2-hour session will provide an in-depth look at the two new GASB standards that will impact your organization in the coming year, specifically GASB 103, Financial Reporting Model Improvements and GASB 104, Disclosure of Certain Capital Assets. We’ll also preview some of the current GASB projects, providing you with the knowledge you need to stay ahead.
The webinar will be led by leading experts from Plante Moran, including Michelle Watterworth, Amanda Cronk, Spencer Tawa and Kristin Hunt. After attending this webinar, you will be able to:
- Identify current GASB standards first applicable in the coming year.
- Define how GASB Statements 103 and 104 will impact your organization’s financial reporting.
- Identify timelines and strategies to take to prepare for the implementation of these standards.
