The success of the organization and annual conference depends on the many volunteers that willingly donate their time and efforts. Planning, coordinating, and budgeting a conference takes many people to make it work smoothly.
Volunteers are needed for the main conference committees including:

  • Speaker’s Committee – responsible for educational topics, scheduling/securing speakers for the conference and writing session descriptions for the brochure
  • On-Site/Hospitality Committee – responsible for registration desk and conference materials, activities at the conference and other on-site duties as assigned
  • Sponsorship Committee – responsible for choosing and securing commercial vendors to participate in the annual conference. In addition, this committee works with the sponsors before, during and after the conference to ensure a successful partnership
  • Publicity Committee – responsible for getting the word out about P2F2 and the annual conference

In addition, there are other opportunities to volunteer for tasks such as organizational responses to technical issues and developing content for the newsletters.

Volunteering provides you with worthwhile networking opportunities and with other pension professionals across the nation – but most of all, you’ll feel a sense of accomplishment and pride knowing that your efforts contribute to the success of P2F2’s mission.

It’s easy to volunteer for one of the committees, just click here or contact one of the P2F2 Board members. We look forward to working with you to make P2F2 a success for years to come!
